Hmm, that was definitely thought provoking but for me, the issue is more nuanced.

Of course there is pseudoscientific crap out there around productivity just like there is a tonne of it around self-help, mental health, nutrition and fitness too but there are also things that some people find helpful.

It’s the pretending that there is a scientific basis for stuff when there isn’t that is hard to stomach. As you demonstrate, people need to just feel comfortable enough to engage their curiosity and test things out, see what works for them.
